Notice is hereby given that on November 3, 2026 an election will be held for the purpose of electing board director(s) to the following positions for the Umpqua Soil and Water Conservation District:

Positions:  

• Zone 2: 2 years
• Zone 3: 4 years
• At-Large 1: 4 years

Zone boundaries, eligibility requirements, and copies of the required election forms may be obtained  at the SWCD Office loacated at PO Box 415, Reedsport, OR 97467 or by calling (541) 662-1341.

Each candidate must file a “Declaration of Candidacy” and a “Petition for Nomination Signature Sheet” with the Oregon Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Program Area, SWCD Election Clerk. The filing deadline is 5:00 p.m. on August 25, 2026. The last day to filek for an elected incumbend district candidate seeking re-election to the same office is 5:00 p.m. August 18, 2026
