DEQ Rulemaking – Umpqua River Basin Water Quality Management Plan for Temperature - DEQ Requests Comments on the Proposed Rule Amendments
Summary
The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is proposing to amend Oregon Administrative Rule 340-042-0090 related to Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs). Consistent with Oregon Revised Statute 468B.110 and OAR chapter 340 division 42, DEQ proposes the draft Water Quality Management Plan for the Umpqua River Basin to implement the 2025 Umpqua River Basin Temperature TMDL. The Water Quality Management Plan will be proposed for adoption by Oregon’s Environmental Quality Commission, by reference, into OAR 340-042-0090.
