Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop at the Elkton Community Education Center

Join us for a hands-on class to learn the art and science of winter pruning for your favorite fruit trees! Whether you're a backyard grower or a small-scale orchardist, this workshop will cover proper techniques to improve tree health, boost fruit production, and shape your trees for long-term success.

Topics include:

  • When and why to prune in winter
  • Tools and safety
  • Pruning strategies for apples, pears, cherries, and plums
  • Live demonstrations and Q&A

  • Where:  Elkton Community Education Center, 15850 Oregon Hwy 38 W, Elkton, OR 97436
  • When:  Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 11 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
  • Registration  requested by Friday, January 16th at Noon.
